Tom Ford and Givenchy reveal bold beauty trends in Paris

Paris Fashion Week has unveiled the next wave of beauty trends for Spring/Summer 2027, with Tom Ford and Givenchy showcasing distinct yet complementary approaches to colour and complexion innovation.
Tom Ford’s Statement Lip Strategy
Global Makeup Artist Lucy Bridge crafted eight looks across 53 models for Tom Ford, with red lipstick emerging as a dominant narrative. The Red Glass Lips look combined Runway Lip Pencil in 105 Private Client, Runway Liquid Lip Color Matte in 16 Scarlet Rouge, and Gloss Luxe in 01 Disclosure to achieve a high-shine finish.
A darker interpretation paired a custom red lip with the same gloss, while Runway Gel Eyeliner in Cocoa and Black defined both eyes and lips. This approach signals renewed momentum for high-impact lip colour, emphasizing texture through layered pigment, definition, and gloss for dimensional effect.
New eye products debuted backstage, including Runway Eye Color Quad Poudre in 28 Burnished Haze and Runway Eye Stylo Shimmer in Honey Veil and Burnt Copper, expanding the brand’s colour palette for eye-centric looks.
Complexion Innovation at Tom Ford
The Pure and Natural look shifted focus to complexion products, introducing the Architecture Multi-Use Foundation Stick in 25 shades. This was layered with Architecture Soft Matte Blurring Cushion Foundation, Architecture Contour Duo, Shade and Illuminate Concealer, and Architecture Soft Matte Blurring Powder.
Givenchy’s Graphic Colour Approach
Givenchy adopted graphic colour through makeup by Lucia Pieroni, with Khôl Couture Waterproof Eyeliners in Cobalt and Jade creating saturated geometric shapes around the eyes. The styling was led by Camille Nickerson, with hair by Guido Palau and nails by Ama Quashie.
Prisme Libre Glow Serum Foundation was applied sparingly for a luminous, transparent finish, while Prisme Libre 4-Color Pressed Powder concentrated on facial high points. This approach reintroduces coloured eyeliner, particularly saturated blue and green, as a focal point.
The runway also launched Givenchy’s new Le Rouge Satin Silk Lipstick, with N03 Beige Crush creating a muted nude finish. Priced at $75 and available at Myer, it pairs with Le Rouge Hydra Balm in 00 Natural, highlighting the crossover between lip colour and conditioning formats.
Fragrance Integration in Runway Beauty
Both houses extended their beauty narratives into fragrance. Tom Ford scented its runway with Tobacco Chocolat, an amber gourmand built around warm tobacco and dark chocolate, reflecting the expansion of gourmand profiles beyond traditional vanilla-led interpretations.
Givenchy concluded its beauty look with L’Interdit Elixir, priced at $230 for 50ml and available at Myer. The inclusion of fragrance alongside complexion and colour cosmetics allows luxury houses to connect fashion collections across multiple beauty categories, moving beyond standalone makeup activations.
