The Jojoba Company introduces its Ultimate Body Collection with two new products priced at $59.95 and $39.95.

The Jojoba Company is expanding into bodycare with its first Ultimate Body Collection, timed for Australia’s summer season. The move reflects a broader shift in consumer demand—one where shoppers now expect the same active ingredients and performance standards they trust in facial skincare, but applied to the body.

The firming treatment combines jojoba with seven facial-grade actives, including peptides, THD ascorbate vitamin C, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, to target firmness, elasticity, and hydration. Unlike traditional body lotions, it’s formulated as a shake-to-activate dual-phase serum, delivering a more concentrated treatment experience. The shower oil, meanwhile, uses jojoba alongside sunflower, castor, and coconut oils to cleanse without disrupting the skin barrier, a key concern as Australians prepare for summer.

The launch marks another step for a brand that began two decades ago when co-founder Vicki Engsall and her father, Ian Turner, faced skepticism about jojoba itself. Back then, natural skincare was a niche market, and consumers had little familiarity with the ingredient. Engsall’s introduction to jojoba came through naturopath Amanda Haberecht during a period when she was reassessing her skincare routine after fertility challenges, admitting she had never heard of the ingredient before.

“Back then, around 20 years ago, the availability of natural skincare brands was quite limited,” Engsall previously said, noting there were only a handful of options available. Education became a cornerstone of the early business, with Engsall and Turner actively promoting jojoba through retail channels at a time when natural beauty was still emerging.

The brand’s growth reflects how beauty consumers have become more educated about ingredients, expanding demand beyond facial skincare to include targeted body treatments. The Jojoba Company’s expansion into this space aligns with increased awareness of skin changes across different life stages, including menopause. The new products launched on October 1 through The Jojoba Company and leading beauty, pharmacy, and online retailers.
