Danielle Fishel served as QVC’s Co-Chief Cheer Officer three months prior.

“I worked very hard for this promotion,” she jokes.

As Mrs. Claus, Fishel will be sharing her holiday gift picks, including a beauty gift she buys in twos. The Dr. Denese Serum is an absolute must in her beauty routine, and she likes to buy a couple of them to gift to friends.

She believes that women do not get enough credit for planning the little details that make holidays memorable.

When asked what Mrs. Claus actually does all year, Fishel said, “Mrs. Claus does everything. I’m pretty sure Santa just drives the sleigh!” To her, Mrs. Claus is the person who does the thankless work that gives people the best memories, like decorating the home and planning meals.

Holiday Traditions Begin

Fishel has seen holiday magic up close, thanks to her mom, who makes homemade ornaments and starts wrapping gifts in September. Fishel has passed on a tradition from her childhood to her kids, making monkey bread on Christmas morning.

The tradition involves buying biscuit dough, cutting it into fours, rolling it in cinnamon sugar, and putting it in a Bundt pan with brown sugar. Fishel looks forward to making it with her kids every year, and it’s become a special part of their holiday celebration.

As the holiday season kicks off, Fishel is feeling grateful for the opportunity to tackle new things and say yes to new experiences. She’s had a huge year, between Dancing With the Stars, her body-care launch, and now being Mrs. Claus.

Fishel will be sharing what she’s buying for everyone on her list throughout the season, giving fans a glimpse into her holiday shopping habits.

New Body Care Launches

The body wash is super lathering, smells delicious, and has all clean ingredients.

Fishel launched Be Ageless body butter and serum in August, and she’s been using them to keep her skin moisturized, especially during the dry winter months. She gets out of the shower, stays a little damp, and then slathers herself in the serum and body butter.

During the summer, she can sometimes get away with using just one or the other, but during the winter months, she uses both all the time. Fishel’s experience with dry skin has influenced her approach to skincare.

She enjoys a rosy cheek and thinks about trying the classic Mrs. Claus look. I tend to have some blush blindness.

Beyond her own line, the Dr. Denese Serum ($65) is a beauty gift Fishel would put under her own tree. It’s something her mom uses, and she likes to buy a couple of them and gift them to friends.
